Honors Living Learning Community

Honors Living Learning Community in Terry Hall

The University of Washington Honors Program engages a diverse population of students through a rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum that promotes expansive, innovative thinking and conscious global citizenship. Students are asked to take intellectual risks; to seek an understanding of the interdependence of all branches of knowledge; to engage with the complexities of difference and diversity; to take leadership roles in navigating global change; and to value a life of continuous learning and personal growth.

The Honors Living Learning Community provides students with a bridge between their residential experience and a rich Honors Program experience. Honors Living Learning Community members will be encouraged to develop meaningful and intentional relationships with fellow students, staff and faculty, to think deeply about different ways of knowing, to participate in experiential learning, to develop leadership skills by serving in the community, and to reflect on their path through the university.
