Student Dining Staff, Job 101

In this position you will be serving and preparing food, cleaning the kitchen and dining areas, dish washing and cashiering. You must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and possess or be eligible for a valid food worker card. We are particularly looking for students who have some availability between 10 am and 3 pm on weekdays to support our high-volume lunch period service. This job posting serves as a candidate bank, and we are always accepting applications. Desk Services Representative, Job 181

Desk Services is hiring Desk Services Representatives (DSRs) for the 2017–18 academic year!

We hope you’ll join our team as we prepare to welcome and serve the thousands of new and returning UW Huskies who stay in our halls. In addition to checking them in, providing them with keys to access their rooms and processing their mail and packages, you’ll work with HFS professionals who will help you gain valuable job skills such as customer service, communication, problem solving, professionalism and resourcefulness that will enhance your own Husky Experience during your time at the UW (skills that are relevant to many future career paths). Student Conference Assistant, Job 189

Conference Assistants provide services to clients and campus guests during the summer conference season while supporting HFS Conference Services staff in the coordination of conference arrangements and management of UW facilities. You need to be available for a part-time schedule during spring quarter, and a full-time schedule from mid-June through mid-September. This position requires a full-time commitment during the summer, Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, plus occasional overtime on nights and weekends. Because of the workload and need for flexible scheduling, Conference Assistants may not be enrolled in classes during the summer.
