Sorority or On-campus Housing?

Many women choose to join sororities instead of living in the residence halls, and most of them participate in formal sorority recruitment, held yearly in mid-September. The majority of recruitment participants move in to a sorority house at the conclusion of the recruitment process, however there are always some participants who choose not to join a sorority or who don’t receive an offer of their choosing.

The Panhellenic Association and HFS work in collaboration to ensure that all undergraduate women have a chance to consider Greek life without risking their place in the residence halls in case their sorority plans fall through.
