Students who have been accepted to the UW Seattle campus may apply for Family Housing as soon as they are admitted. At the beginning of autumn quarter, the demand for apartments typically exceeds the number of units available. Vacancies occur throughout the year. If a unit is not available the first part of autumn quarter, you may receive an offer as the school year progresses. If you are offered an apartment by email but do not respond, your application will be canceled. To withdraw your application, please return to your Application Instructions and Status page and follow the Cancel link.
On the application, you may specify the locations and unit size(s) that you will accept, and the date you will be eligible and available to move. You will be offered an apartment in only one of the areas you specify.
Once you have submitted your application, you will need to send copies of documents supporting your eligibility for Family Housing, such as a marriage license or same-sex, domestic partnership registration, dependent children's birth certificates, and/or proof of custody.
Before you apply, identify the apartment size you're eligible for. Apartment size eligibility is based on family size.
