Engineering Living Learning Community in Maple Hall

Do you have the drive to discover? Do you want to lead innovation in response to local and global challenges?  Are you a dreamer, builder, maker, creator or inventor? The Engineering Community may be the community for you.

The UW College of Engineering is a diverse community of innovators working to dramatically improve the quality of life in our state, our nation, and the world. Located in the same building as the Area 01 Community Center, a community-focused, interdisciplinary learning destination where students can connect, imagine, discover, innovate and responsibly create, The Engineering Living Learning Community is a residential community of students wanting to explore academic and career trajectories in the field of engineering.

Engineering Living Learning Community members are invited to engage in one-on-one relationships with residential staff that share an interest in engineering, participate in activities and events that foster connections with UW College of Engineering staff and faculty, local business leaders and alumnae in the field of engineering, as well as develop their leadership skills by serving as a leader in the community.

Residents living in this community will have access to Area 01, a learning destination where students can connect, imagine, discover, innovate and responsibly create.
