The Husky Card is the official identification card for members of the UW community and is available to students, faculty and permanent staff. Obtaining a Husky Card gives you access to a variety of services, conveniences and opportunities including:
The Husky Card serves as your UW library card. Use it when checking out books and materials from the UW Libraries.
Most Seattle campus students are automatically enrolled in the Universal U-PASS program. Faculty and staff members are eligible to purchase a U-PASS once they have received their Husky Card. The U-PASS provides full fare coverage on King County Metro, Community Transit, Sound Transit, Pierce Transit, Kitsap Transit, Everett Transit bus services, Sound Transit's Link light rail and Sounder commuter trains. U-PASS members tap the Husky Card on the ORCA card readers in place of payment. Additional benefits include free rides on the NightRide Shuttle and discounts at participating merchants. Cardholders are eligible for:
- Admission to campus events
- Membership to the Intramural Activities Building (IMA)
- Free admission to the Henry Art Gallery and the Burke Museum
- Discounts on tickets at the UW Arts Ticket Office
- Discounted Husky sporting event tickets
- Participation in the UW Discount Program
